i come up with things i want to blog all the time. when i am driving, teaching, walking. just never when i am sitting in front of my computer. i suppose i'll have to start noting some of them down for future posts. but what i did want to say, was that i can no longer post at work as i am unable to sign in. and it sucks. and its all because i decided to switch to the new google-ized version of blogger. in retrospect, big mistake, but there is no turning back. and don't get me wrong- i'm a fan of google.. though i wish it wasn't taking over so much and so fast.

just back from australia today- had a great time exploring melbourne and sydney, coming face to face with kangaroos, koalas, emus and fairy penguins, shopping, eating good non-japanese food, driving around, walking around, being around.
its a strange feeling to be back in my apartment, but not in a bad way. its time for the final stretch of japan: 7 months left, in which i hope to enjoy myself and get as much out of it all as i possibly can.
here's to wishing everyone a very happy 2007. thinking of everyone in canada, i miss you! je vous envoie toutes mes amitiés et meilleurs voeux pour un super 2007.
